  • Uncle Bill: Uncle Bill sees Shep being chased by a small dog. He tells Shep he is ashamed of him. In the last panel Shep, the little dog and Uncle Bill are running while a bull chases all of them.
  • Bronc Peeler: Bronc is helping Miss Jean out with the roundup. The money she gets for the cattle will save her ranch. The banker has another plan. He plans to break up the roundup and take over Miss Jean's ranch. A storm hits at night and the cattle start a stampede. The banker's men try to get the cattle into the canyon while Bronc is trying to keep them out of there. Bronc doesn't understand why his men are directing the cattle toward the canyon. He realizes they aren't his men. He recognizes Curley.
