Summary
  • Uncle Bill: Uncle Bill is running after Shep, the dog, as he chases what Uncle Bill thinks is a rabbit. Shep jumps into the brush pile and quickly runs away. It wasn't a rabbit in the brush pile. In the last panel, Uncle Bill gives Shep a bath after getting sprayed by a skunk.
  • Bronc Peeler: Bronc asks Pete where he got his coonskin cap. Pete tells him from his great uncle. It's been in the family for years. The cap snags on a cactus as they walk. Pete tells Bronc to go on and he will catch up with him. He finds his cap and heads back. An eagle swoops down and attacks him. He fights with the eagle.
