  • Note: attributed to George Brickham the Younger, publisher/printmaker. Below the image: This is a very striking Resemblance of Sr. Robert Walpole probably an old plate touched up altered for Dr. Bute 1770, vide 1740. This is an altered state of BM Sat.2458. The head of Walpole in that has been changed here to Bute, the text has been cut off, the word English in the title replaced by Scotch and the name of Bickham removed.
