Summary
  • Thimble Theatre: Professor Hooey asks Castor if he wants a job as his assistant. They need to find strange prehistoric animals thought to be extinct still living in the desert. He spots a "wild stangamus" and Castor thinks it is an animal. He runs and gets a group of men to help him hunt the animal. They find the professor and he tells Castor the wild stangamus is a flower. The men are angry and beat up Castor.
  • Sappo: John is planning to go to the neighbors poker party tonight so Myrtle comes up with a plan to stop him. She asks him to get in the escape box he built and she will lock him in. She doesn't know about the escape door. John tells Myrtle he is putting a hose in the box so he can get more oxygen. He escapes the box, goes to the neighbors and talks through the hose telling Myrtle to let him out. Sitting in a chair, Myrtle tells him she will not.
