  • The father tells Fred a story about the Gold Rush. He says two men buried their gold somewhere in Sacramento and then they disappeared. Fred points out that the gold could still be buried in Sacramento. The father says it could even be buried in their own backyard. Later at two in the morning, the father is seen digging in the backyard.
