  • Small folio face masks issued as full-color cardboard supplements to the Boston Globe during the Russo-Japanese War. 79a, Uncle Sam, lists the 1904 copyright above its right ear as belonging to "Sloan & Woodrow Co. 1 Madison Ave, New York" and is already cut out. 79b, a Russian soldier, is also already cut out. 79c, a Japanese Soldier, is dated to November 20, 1904 and is not cut out of its complete page. The full page contains the same copyright information found on Uncle Sam, but also instructions for how to cut out and wear the mask, a title for the series, and an individual title ("Look Like a Jap").
