Summary
  • Sappo: Myrtle tells John there is a big sale today at the store. She asks him if he can write her a check. He comes back in the room with his right hand bandaged. He tells her he can't write her a check with his left hand. Later in the evening the stores are closed and Myrtle tells John it was too bad he couldn't write her a check. John unwraps the bandage from his hand and Myrtle sees his hand was not injured.
  • Thimble Theatre: Castor's wife has a man replace a broken window with a mirror they have. Castor and her are going out so she puts makeup on Castor while he is sleeping. He gets up and dresses to go out but sees a bum looking through the window. He calls the police on the bum. He keeps seeing him in the window and throws a potted plant through the window. Castor's wife tells him it is a mirror and he is seeing himself with the makeup she put on him. He goes outside to repair the window, the police show up and think he is the bum. He takes Castor down to the station.
