Anthony J.L. Morency was a tank and tractor driver during United States Antarctica Service Expedition, 1939-1941, and Operation Highjump, 1946-1947. He also participated in Operation Deep Freeze I and II as a gravity physicist from 1955-1956. The Anthony Morency Papers, dated 1933-1972, contains artifacts, correspondence and periodicals from and about these expeditions and the creation and dedication of the Admiral Richard E. Byrd Memorial in New Zealand.
