The Troy L. Péwé Papers, dated 1958-1961, 1990, 1999, consist of journal articles and a letter Péwé sent to Brian Shoemaker, the president of the American Polar Society. The journal articles written by Péwé feature his research into glacier formation and movement in Antarctica and Alaska. This collection also includes a letter Péwé sent to Brian Shoemaker in response to Shoemaker's request for Péwé to give an oral history interview sponsored by the American Polar Society and Ohio State University's Byrd Polar Research Center Archival Program, however, Péwé passed away before the interview occurred. The letter contains information about Péwé’s work as a glacial geologist in the polar regions.
