Abstract
As of 2018, the Academic Advising Association of The Ohio State University, or ACADAOS, is a professional development organization for academic advisors at Ohio State University. ACADAOS was founded in 1991. The Academic Advising Association of The Ohio State University Records contains position papers, records relating to the organizations various committees (Election Committee, Recruitment Committee, Research Committee), materials related to workshops and the advising fair, and a compact disc. The materials in the collection date from 1991-2001.

As of 2018, the Academic Advising Association of The Ohio State University (ACADAOS), is a professional development organization for academic advisors at Ohio State University. ACADAOS was founded in 1991 and has worked with the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) since 1994. In 1995, it was recognized as an official University organization by the Provost. ACADAOS offers a method of networking for all academic advisors and representation of their profession at Ohio State University. In addition to professional development activities, ACADOS also provides its members access to grants, publications, and social events.
