Charles Morrey was a professor in the Department of Bacteriology at Ohio State University. In his early career he taught at Starling Medical College, the predecessor to the Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Charles Bradfield Morrey was a professor in the Department of Bacteriology at Ohio State University. In his early career he taught Latin, anatomy, and physiology at Starling Medical College and was a member of the first Ohio State football team in 1890.
