The John Gabel Papers contain correspondence regarding Gabel's role as editor of The Bible as Literature, and reprinted poems by author David Citino. John Gabel was a professor in the Department of English at Ohio State University.

It also contains reprinted poems sent to Gabel by author David Citino.
