Abstract
The August Carl Mahr Papers contain poems, music and songs, translation of a Moravian diary of 1772, a play, and an essay on Greek tragedy. August Mahr was a professor of German Language and Literatures at Ohio State University.

The August Carl Mahr Papers contain poems (chiefly in German), music and songs, a translation of a Moravian diary from 1772, a play in German titled Agnes, and an essay on Greek tragedy titled Das Werden der tragischen Schauform in Attika.
