Delbert "Bud" Maurice Byg (1921-1991) was a professor of agricultural engineering at Ohio State University from 1947 to 1980. He also worked in the OSU Extension. His expertise was in crop harvesting machinery. As part of Ohio State's Agricultural Education and Research Mission to India, Professor Byg helped set up agricultural institutions in Punjab and Rajasthan, India.
