Abstract
The Ohio State University, Office of Special Projects Records contain administrative files from the director of Special Projects, including publications, correspondence, reports, surveys, and other files related to various studies on personnel, budget, and space planning at Ohio State University, dated 1953-circa 1988. George Baughman was appointed Director of Special Projects at Ohio State University in 1972.

Biographical / Historical Note
George Baughman was appointed Director of Special Projects in 1972 under the Office of the President during Novice Fawcett's administration to handle various studies, issues and topics related to the University as a whole. He served in this capacity until 1988. As late as 1979, the Office of Special Projects was publishing university material as an entity separate from the President's Office.
