The Ohio State University Campus Planning Advisory Committee was appointed in 1968 by John Corbally, Vice President and Provost, and coordinated through the Division of Campus Planning. The committee was preceded by a Campus Planning Advisory Board that was meeting as early as 1959. The committee discussed traffic patterns, street closings, construction, parking, and building locations. It was generally concerned with "long-range planning of the campus and its implementation."
