Abstract
The Ohio State University Student Leadership Awards Records contain correspondence, reports, invitee lists, publications, and other materials related to the annual event to honor students and student organizations demonstrating leadership qualities. The President's Student Leadership Recognition Dinner, later known as the Student Leadership Awards, was established at Ohio State University in 1961.

The President's Student Leadership Recognition Dinner was established at Ohio State University in 1961 under President Novice G. Fawcett to recognize accomplishments and leadership skills of students and student organizations. The awards event was officially named the "President's Student Leadership Recognition Dinner" in 1965, and later became known as just the Student Leadership Awards.
