The Harvey H. Davis Papers contain correspondence, reports and other materials relating to the Administrative Council, Alumni Association, American Council on Education, Association of Land Grant Colleges and Universities, Board of Trustees, budget matters, committees, Diamond Jubilee, Graduate School, Inter-American program, U.S. Office of Education, War Manpower Commission and other matters.

Biographical / Historical Note
Harvey H. Davis (1894-1969) was the second man to hold the office of the Academic Vice President of Ohio State University, from 1942 until 1948 when he resigned to return to the University of Iowa. Before he was appointed to Vice President, Davis was a member of the Ohio State Department of Education and a faculty member of the Department of Education at Ohio State University.
