Abstract
William McPherson (1864-1951) was the acting president of Ohio State University from 1938 to 1940. The Ohio State University, Office of the President (William McPherson) Records contain correspondence, reports, alumni, faculty and student matters, Board of Trustees materials, committee materials, and material related to legislative matters.

William McPherson (1864-1951) was the acting president of Ohio State University from 1938 to 1940. Before becoming university president, McPherson was a professor in the chemistry department and dean of the Graduate School at Ohio State University.
