It also contains 28 film strips with assorted agricultural titles and accompanying reports. In 1903, Ohio State University established a Department of Cooperative Experimentation, later known as Agriculture Extension Service, and then the Cooperative Extension Service.

RG 22.O.4: Ohio State University, Cooperative Extension Service County Agent Annual Reports

In 1903, Ohio State University established a Department of Cooperative Experimentation, later known as Agriculture Extension, at its Agricultural Experiment Station. In 1914, under the Smith Lever Act, cooperative extension services and agricultural experiment stations were created at land grant universities and county offices throughout the United States, linking federal funding to the already existing Experiment Station and Extension at Ohio State University.
