The University School opened in 1930 on the campus of Ohio State University as a part of the teacher education program in the College of Education and to provide research to the University's Bureau of Educational Research. University School originally only served as a preschool and elementary school. In 1932, a junior high school and a high school were established. The School was closed in 1967.
