The College of Education officially opened at Ohio State University in the fall term of 1907. In the 1980s, the College established a new certification system under the mandated Holmes Partnership. In 1996, the College of Education restructured its master’s program by splitting the College into three schools: the School of Physical Activity and Educational Services; the School of Teaching and Learning; and the School of Educational Policy and Leadership.
