The Ohio State University, Cooperative Extension Service Home Economics and Family Living Program Records contain newsletters, leaflets concerning the care of clothing, brochures, correspondence, training and hiring documents, and other publications pertaining to various home economics programs run by the Extension from 1930 to 1995.

Ohio State University, Cooperative Extension Service, Film Library Records contain 16mm motion picture films produced by John V. Schmidt, the assistant extension editor for television at the Cooperative Extension. Topics of the films include agricultural processing, farm and vehicle safety, and home economics related topics such as personal finance, nutrition, and child development. The films were made with the intention for broadcast by local TV stations. The collection also includes magnetic tapes of audio recordings, as well as publications about the film library. Materials date from 1963 to 1977.

The Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, Department of Home Economics Records contains budgets for bills and salaries, correspondence, photographs, and publications such as annual reports, bulletins, circulars, conference proceedings, research reports, journal reprints, and pamphlets. The collection contains research in home economics conducted at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) and files related to the administration of staff and faculty working in the Department of Home Economics at the OARDC.
