Paper products produced in Ohio are used in books where the publisher has exacting requirements. This book was published with a specification for paper that had attained Forest Stewardship Council certification standards. The standards ensure that the wood products “come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.” The paper in this book was produced by the Glatfelter Corporation at their plant in Chillicothe, Ohio. The production of paper products alone contributes $15.2 billion to Ohio’s total economic activity.
