The Food Innovation Center is proud to announce its second annual Innovation Initiative competition. Awards earned will support multi-college teams building on the center’s existing team awards or in new collaborative research projects. FIC seeks new team research approaches in the areas of food security, behavior change campus and community nutrition, value-added foods, functional foods, commercialization of food intellectual property, or nutrition and immunity. Up to $50,000 in direct costs for one year per award may be requested, and as many as four high quality projects may be supported. Proposals are due to by April 25 at 5 p.m.
