Photocopies and photographic reprints of materials in our collection are available per patron request (and subject to Archivist approval). Normal service time is seven business days. This does not include mailing time.
Fees
Photocopy and PDF Scanning
Photocopies and PDF scans are free for the first 100 pages and then become $0.15 per page afterwards, including the first 100 (plus applicable sales tax).
Paper photocopies sent via USPS are $0.25 per page (plus applicable sales tax).
High-Resolution Scans
High-resolution scans of documents and/or photographs are $10.00 per scan (plus applicable sales tax).
Images will be scanned at 300 dpi and 100% size, provided in TIFF/JPEG format, and processed in Adobe RGB color profile unless otherwise specified. Images can be sent electronically or added to a CD or flash drive provided by the patron at no additional cost. CDs provided by the Archives can be purchased for an additional $5.00 charge.
Publication and Commercial Use
Usage Fee
A publication and commercial usage fee is an additional fee of $50.00 per high-resolution scan and subject to Archivist approval. For further information, please contact us at archives@osu.edu.
DVD/Videotape Duplication
DVD and videotape duplication is subject to Archivist approval and may not be available in most cases. For further information, please contact us at archives@osu.edu.

Payment
Payment in advance is required. Ohio sales tax may apply. Credit card payments, personal checks, money orders, or payment orders (Staff & Faculty via Workday) in the exact amount payable to "Ohio State University" are preferred.
Checks should be made payable to "The Ohio State University" and payment orders to "University Archives."
