Library Anecdotes

Libraries have often been thought of as serious places. For serious learning. By serious people. I could certainly be described as being a serious individual, too.

There are times, however, when a snicker can relieve stress, increase your productivity, and help your daily outlook.

I'll try to add some funny stories as I can recall them. Please feel free to add your own anecdotes in the section below, "Other Staff Stories;" try to keep them in good taste, though, and of course, nothing that would breach patron confidentiality or tarnish the reputation of the University Libraries!
