From LibraryWiki
This page provides a working overview of (most of) the pages generated by the East Asian Information Literacy project that are related to Japan.
The focus of the East Asian Information Literacy project is to support students and scholars in East Asian Studies in research, teaching and learning. The project is directed by Maureen Donovan, Japanese Studies Librarian at the Ohio State University Libraries. Funding for the project is provided by the University Libraries and the Title VI NRC/FLAS East Asian Studies Center (EASC) at Ohio State. Interim reports are available:

Miscellaneous
At present, it is possible to get an idea of the scope of the project by looking at Category pages such as Category:Japanese language, their super-categories, and their sub-categories. (Adding each page in this project to a blanket category such as Category:Japan has been rejected as adding unnecessary redundancy to the Category system.) When there is a general category within which a number of articles have been generated dealing exclusively with things Japanese, the Japanese word corresponding to the name of that category has been created as a subcategory, and the articles in question have been added to both. For example, see Category:Dictionaries and the subcategory Category:Jisho that appears there.
