Contains 13 treatises, chiefly religious by various authors including Bonaventura, Aquinas and Alcuin that may have been used in writing sermons; also includes important writings of literary or legal interest. Includes the Fables of Odo of Cheriton, a well-known collection of animal stories popular in the Middle Ages; late antique bestiary called the Physiologus, or Liber de naturalibus animalium; religious treatise in the form of question and answer on the duel and the tournament; religious romance describing a battle between the virtues and vices; also includes a prayer in German to be used against the toothache. Prior of the Dominican monasteries of Alkaniz and Zaragoza. Manuscript compendium divided into two parts on cosmography and geography, closely written in classic Spanish prose. The first section on cosmography is illustrated with 13 pen drawings of spheres, astronomical figures, conjunctions of the sun and moon, etc. The section on geography includes descriptions of new discoveries and the major continents including Brazil, Antarctic and Pacific, America, South America, India, Europe, Asia and Africa. With index and notes at end.

Local Copy Notes- 19th-century binding, spine with 5 raised bands, gilt tooling and lettering. Manuscript was in Zaragoza until the middle of the 18th century.
