Standards for Creating Short Bib Records on OSCAR
by the Working Group to Study Shared Bibliographic Record Standards
When we are able to download records directly from OCLC, that will be the preferred methods of obtaining bibliographic records, *Cataloging looks for the best available record, i.e., whether record contains complete LC number and/or LC subject heading(s) .
