Public Services staff,

Your location should have a list of the types of problems you can report to Main Library Circulation Dept evenings or weekends so Main Circ staff can page IT staff. The IT person who is paged will contact other IT staff as needed. Among the types of problems listed are:

• OSCAR is down
• can't connect to an OhioLINK-provided resource (see more below)
• users can't connect from off-campus

OhioLINK EJC, ISI, DMC, ETD, Dataware databases, etc. Laura, Nancy and I have a phone number we can page OhioLINK staff if a database is down evenings or weekends. All other database and e-journal problems must be reported to the database provider by SER staff during normal business hours.

The statement at the top of the above Web page about SilverPatter databases is incorrect now that we've discontinued our SilverPlatter ERL server and are accessing all the SilverPlatter databases from the SP's Boston server. I'll ask Blake to delete the info on SilverPlatter databases.
