Changing OSCAR/Felix Screen Colors in Telnet


Screen and text colors are established through the following menu: Options/Setup/Screen Colors



To change the overall background, select Background Color for Text.



Push the Change Color button. You may customize your color choice by choosing Define Custom Colors. Click anywhere on the rainbow screen to select hue. Move the arrow up and down on the right intensity bar to adjust lightness/darkness. Your color will display in the Color/Solid box below. Click OK to save your selected color. Then indicate OK again on the box beneath.



To change the background color for the reverse video areas (darker highlighting in illustration below) select Background Color for Reverse Video.

To change the color of the text in these darker shaded areas select Reverse Video Text in the Text Attributes box.

(Note all the options for changing text in this box, including the main text of the display.)



Outlines on OSCAR/Felix screens may also be adjusted from this menu. Select Line Draw.


Use all of these choices to create the screen most comfortable for you!
