SCCAT catalogs materials in all formats for the Special Collections Libraries of the Ohio State University Libraries. In addition, we serve as a liaison for communicating technical services issues to library staff in those locations, as well as representing a special collections perspective in discussion within the Technical Services Division. This site is intended primarily as a reference tool for the catalogers in OSU's Special Collections Cataloging Department (SCCAT). It collects documentation about local procedures & policies, together with links to useful cataloging tools and other resources available on the web. It also presents statistical reports about special collections records in the catalog and other information of potential interest to OSU's special collections libraries.
