Serials Cancellation Project
Tschera Connell presented the emerging plans for the serials cancellation project. CAC provided many suggestions and ideas for improving the spreadsheets to be provided to each fund manager. CAC also recommended that the letter/introduction explaining the project and its context should come jointly from Joe Branin and Carol Diedrichs.
The formal plans and instructions for the project will be shared and discussed with collection managers at the August 29, 2001 Collection Managers’ Forum. Deadlines and procedures will be the primary focus of that meeting.
Future agendas
Carol Diedrichs closed the meeting by mentioning two issues that she would be putting on the next meeting agenda – 1) outcome and ideas from new collection managers’ focus group and need for a more systematic orientation project, and 2) developing the agenda for future collection managers’ forums. The next meeting will be held September 13, 2001.
