   N.B. Items 3 and 4 are questions for discussion. Collection Advisory Council discussed both topics on 7.8.04. Both topics are regarded as related to the "Materials Budget Adjustment Strategy," with the intention of developing a "simplified funding structure" that reflects the long-term goal of consistently (that is, in a non-crisis mode) doing the most and the best with increasingly limited human and financial resources.
