2. Discussion of the "acceptable" percent/dollar increase of serials costs that can be absorbed by central -3 funds or passed on to -4 funds. See CAC May 13, 2004--Meeting Summary at cac051304.php.

   It has been suggested that a new process be followed in the case of a serial title’s cost increase of 20% or higher. The collection manager would be notified and required to pay the difference from -4 funds or cancel the title.

   
   

3. Moving to "virtual approvals"?

   This would be a systemic change based on the use of GOBI2 where only those items you wish to keep are shipped to you. Should we go for it?
