Leonora (Sutherland) is a lady-in-waiting at court who is loved by two men, the Count di Luna, who is the older son of the nobleman who had Acuzena's mother burned, and Manrico, the troubadour, and leader of the rebel forces engaged in civil war against the count. Tragedy results when the four come together.
