access to more than just documents relating to French history. It includes digital images of
cultural artifacts and sites relevant to the history of France. Because the texts' coverage is
from Antiquity to the present, it is most useful for research into France's political and
cultural history. The 'Medieval & Renaissance Europe' page will also be of interest.
Index Translationum (UNESCO)
The Index Translationum is a list of books translated in the world, i.e. an international
bibliography of translations.
The data base contains cumulative bibliographical information on books translated and
published in about one hundred of the UNESCO Member States since 1979 and totalling more
than 1,500.000 entries in all disciplines : literature, social and human sciences,
natural and exact sciences, art, history and so forth.

is lodged in hard copy with the major copyright libraries.
