JOHN H. MCDOWELL FILM ARCHIVES: Historic theatrical materials, primarily European, on more than 450,000 frames of microfilm on commedia dell'arte, festival and entry materials, toy theatre, playscripts, prompt-books, works on theatre architecture, scene and costume designs.
ORAL HISTORY COLLECTION: Tapes and transcripts of audio and video oral history interviews with 1952-1956 Porgy and Bess cast members, Players Theatre production staff and actors, Horse Cave Theatre staff and board, and others.
SOUND RECORDINGS: Extensive collection of original cast albums, spoken work recordings and other materials on record and audio and cassette tape.
VIDEOTAPE COLLECTION: Videotapes of oral history interviews, performances, rehearsals, theatre conferences and other events.
