Cataloger's Desktop (Web Version)

What: The Library of Congress now offers a web version of a favorite resource used by catalogers - the Cataloger's Desktop. This provides the same valuable tools we had access to with the CD version, but we no longer have to wait for the new CD to arrive in order to get the latest updates. Set that old paper documentation aside, and use your PC to access the most current information. Quickly jump between the AACR2 and the Library of Congress Rule Interpretations at the click of a mouse. Consult descriptive cataloging resources for those special categories, without ever leaving your workstation. Join us for a short introduction to the new format and see just how easy it can be.

Who: Anyone who does cataloging, no need to register.

When: Offered periodically (Last held October 2004) Contact: Henry Griffy at griffy.2@osu.edu
