Endowment income -- Collection managers can expect to see the deposit of FY03 endowment income in their Felix accounts in mid-August.
Serials Solutions proposal -- a recommendation will be made to the Executive Committee for a one year trial of the Serials Solutions web-based list of full-text e-journals in aggregated databases such as Lexis Nexis. Exec will consider that recommendation at its 8/26 meeting. See link to the proposal in the CAC minutes at:

Shelf-ready approvals -- CAC has recommended that the next step in consideration of the feasibility of shelf-ready approvals be a special open forum sometime this Fall. I will be working on the details of that in the coming months.
CM Forum -- the next Forum is scheduled for 8/21/02. Details are available at:

Local Cataloging Practices -- the next step in the review of local cataloging practices to discontinue will be a presentation to the Collection Managers' Forum. Magda El-Sherbini's PowerPoint presentation can be found at:

Pre-1900 Guideline -- draft two of this guideline will next be discussed by CAC at its 8/22 meeting and will be attached to that agenda when made available later in August.
Accounting Interface Working Group -- I have appointed a small working group to work with OIT to develop the accounting interface between Felix and the General Ledger. That group's charge will appear on the What's New menu of the Technical Services menu later this week.
Cataloging Interfaces Working Group -- this working group has shared its draft interim report with me and is making good progress. A final report and recommendations is expected Sept. 1. The charge and membership of this group can be found at:
