HIGHLIGHTS - June 2000 MONTHLY REPORT
- The CORC Pilot Project officially came to an end on 6/30/00. The final
report is receiving its final review from the working group and should be
released after the upcoming American Library Association Conference
(7/6-7/12).
- The Director has charged a Digital Projects Task Force. The group has been asled to test several digital projects in order to gain some experience with planning, implementing and providing access to locally produced digital content. The members of the task force are: Jim Bracken, Beth Russell, Mary Scott, and Stephen Westman. The TF will be chaired by Wes Boomgaarden and will work with the Assistant Directors as needed. We expect to hear from the Academic Enrichment process by the end of summer quarter but wanted to begin the process of planning and experimenting as soon as possible.
