Reorganization of technical services -- excellent progress continues to be made on reorganization. Much (if not all) of the physical reorganization has occurred. Many of the new positions have been filled and as other reports will reveal, we'll have a number of new faces as well as experienced faces in new positions. Overall, we have 4 remaining vacancies in TS (down from a high of 7 at one point). Of course, filled positions usually turns into significant training workloads so much training can be expected in April.
Two of the four positions are the professional ones. The Serials Coordinator search committee is well along in its review of applications. We'll look forward to interviews in April/May with any luck. Maureen has returned from her travels and will be moving forward with the Non-Roman coordinator as soon as she can.
CORC Project -- the contract for the CORC Project is still in Legal Affairs but Trisha is working to spring that loose. How to proceed with the project is languishing on my desk. I am having difficulty identifying projects and available staff for proceeding. Hopefully, I'll have more success in April addressing that issue.
Retrocon -- we have made an agreement with Music for them to begin work on 3000+ short records. We are able to use the OhioLINK money for this so this is another small inroad on the remaining material.
