- E-book cataloging procedures:
(Barbara Dunham) – Delayed, Barbara away at conference
- EDIFACT implementation status re Jan. 2007 deadline:
(Rebekah Kilzer and representatives of all account units doing electronic ordering) Vendors are being contacted for specs. Book House is operational
- Looking ahead to implementation of "coverage load" with Electronic Resources Management (ERM):
(Celeste Feather) – see Powerpoint presentation. This has been delayed due to move and system problems. Jennifer Kuehn wants ILL restrictions displayed. This only applies to our own titles.
- Updates from OhioLINK CIRM (Celeste Feather) and DMSC (Tschera Connell, Magda El-Sherbini): see DMSC project descriptions dated 10-13-2006
- new strategic directions being discussed by OhioLINK
- marketing workshop – Magda reported on a Marketing for Libraries 101 workshop she attended at OhioLink on Oct. 2, 2006 featuring Diane Cellentani, market research consultant, introduced 5 research tools for libraries to consider when the library wants to make a decision.
- E-analytics for government documents:
(Celeste Feather) (relates to question raised by Mary Scott at last TSC meeting) Discussed what the options are.
- Other:
(Marsha) Discussion regarding location codes on items involved in the moves. Marsha Hamilton is working with Nancy Helmick to develop a grid to help with items with location codes for places that no longer exist. Problems with WTH items flipped in missing project and items that have been in preservation or cataloging, etc.
(Marsha) GOBI being completely revamped is in beta testing. All parts not being revamped at same time.
