Claims to be the" world's largest online encyclopedia of graphic symbols" and contains more than 2,500 Western signs, arranged in 54 groups. Has good collection of most-wanted symbols and signs. The signs range from ideograms carved in mammoth teeth by Cro-Magnon men, to hobo signs and subway graffiti. Use the "word index" and click on desired word to see picture of symbol. If you only know shape of sign, use graphic index.

 

 
Mathematical Symbols
Arranged by types of mathematical symbols such as fractions, decimals, grouping, constants, variables, geometry, trigonometry, logic, and number theory, etc. Click on the type of mathematical symbol desired and you will find a picture of the symbol and the name of the individual who first used it, and when it first appeared.

Explanation of what Hieroglyphs are, plus the Hieroglyph alaphabet and other Hieroglyphs with their meanings. Includes an Egyptian Name Translator where you can transform your name into Hieroglyphs.
