The ASCII file TABLE-S1.TXT contains the Table S1 of the paper "Ro-vibrational Raman cross sections of water vapor in the OH stretching region", by G. Avila, J.M. Fernandez, B. Mate, G. Tejeda, and S. Montero, published in the Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy (1999). This Table S1 is a list of 7081 transitions of the Raman spectrum of H2O in the OH stretching region, with coefficients A[XX] > 10^(-61) m^6, as printed out by our computer program to calculate ro-vibrational Raman intensities. Transitions are sorted by increasing value of the rotational quantum number J of the initial state, and then, by blocks of rotational symmetry in the sequence A1, A2, B1, and B2. Columns are fixed-width, separated by the character ";" . This file can be: - viewed with any ASCII editor, - read by any custom-made program with appropriate fixed-field input format (like FORTRAN), or - imported with commercial spreadsheets that recognize the columns format (like, e.g, Microsoft Excel). Description of the columns: Column 1: Energy (in cm-1) of the initial level. Columns 2-4: Rotational quantum numbers J, Ka, Kc of the initial state. Column 5: Vibrational quantum numbers of initial state (ground state). Column 6: Energy (in cm-1) of the final level. Columns 7-9: Rotational quantum numbers J, Ka, Kc of the final state. Column 10: Vibrational quantum numbers of the final state. Column 11: Wavenumber (in cm-1) of the transition. Columns 12-13: Coefficients A[XX] and A[XY] of Eq. (29), in m^6.
