Plotting from Powerpoint
Caveats
- Sometimes Powerpoint slides can be problematic, especially when they have background images. It is recommended that you export your slides to an image format like JPEG/PNG or to a PDF file and then use one of the other programs for plotting.
- Page setup : Larger sizes are recommended so that the graphics don't degrade too much when plotted in actual size
- If a slide has many images, you should try creating it in a graphic design program such as Illustrator to maintain image/graphics quality
- If you plan to work on multiple platforms (Mac/Windows), then it is advisable to carry a copy of the slides as a PDF document. To do this, go to "Print" dialog and select option "Save as PDF". You can then plot from Adobe Acrobat Reader.
