Plotting from Adobe Acrobat

Step 1

From the File menu, select Page Setup and this window will appear

From the Format for pull-down menu, select Plotter

From the Paper Size pull-down menu, select the desired paper size that corresponds to the given sizes listed on the wall above the plotting machine.

Sizes should be either : ANSI or ARCH

If an incorrect size is selected, an error will show that the printing job will cost $15,000.

From the File menu, select Print and this window will appear

From the Printer pull-down menu, select Plotter

From the Page Scaling pull-down menu, select Fit to Printable Area

Warning : Don't shrink


Do not select Shrink to printable area.

This option may actually reduce your image to a much smaller size, giving you a lot of white space around it. You will notice that in the preview area.

Make sure paper size, margins and printer are correct.
