The Library Administration is responsible for the planning, budgeting, funding and oversight of all of the 19 OSU Libraries, exclusive of the Health Sciences Library and the Law Library, which are administered separately. The library administration consists of
Other units within the library that report directly to the Director of Libraries include the Friends of the Libraries/Development Office and the Preservation Officer.
The Director of Libraries reports directly to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, and is advised by a Council on Libraries and Information Technology, composed of various university representatives, as well as by various councils and committees within the Libraries.
