• Academic Search Premier - Provides access to c. 3,500 full text peer-reviewed scholarly journals in nearly all academic areas of study. It is rich in journalism, communication and related collections.
• American Film Institute Catalog - Documents every American film from 1893-1970 except 1951-1960. A primary tool in American film research.
• American Film Scripts Online - An expanding collection of American scripts in full text with information on scenes, characters and people.
• Art Abstracts - Indexes a wide array of art publications dating from 1929. A good source for a selection of important film journals.
• Business Source Complete - Provides full text for scholarly business journals. A great source for the economics of newspapers and magazine publishing, advertising, PR and motion picture production.
• ComAbstracts- Contains abstracts of articles found in the core journals of journalism and communication.
• Communication & Mass Media Complete - Creates a research and reference source in the communication and mass media fields. Indexes over 400 relevant titles.
• Ethnic NewsWatch - News and opinion from the nation's ethnic and minority press.
• Film Literature Index - Indexes film and television periodicals from 30 countries. It includes both scholarly and popular articles.
• Film & Television Literature Index - Offers mostly full-text access to the "entire spectrum of television and film writing."
• International Index to the Performing Arts - Covers all aspects of the performing arts and popular culture. An excellent source of full-text articles from 1998 on film and television. A very important and helpful resource.
• LexisNexis Academic - An excellent source of full-text newspaper articles, general reference sources, legal information, and business news.
• MLA International Bibliography - Includes film studies in this international index to articles and books and other publications on literature and languages.
• Newsbank - provides full text coverage of most major Ohio newspapers and selected national newspapers.
• Newspaper Source - Offers selected full text coverage of regional and international newspapers, newswires, newspaper columns, and 24 TV and radio news transcripts.
• PsycINFO - Provides access to the international literature in physchology and material relevant to psychology in related disciplines such as communications and sociology.
• Social Science Citation Index - One of the ISI Citation Databases, it indexes 1,700 social science journals.
• World News Connection - A foreign news service from the U.S. government.
